Computed Columns Changelog
This page is the changelog for computed columns, in reverse chronological order. The most recent update is highlighted at the top.
Week of September 28, 2026
Tenant administrators can now add their own calculated columns to Value Chains workspaces from the Computed Columns tab in Settings, where enabled for your organization. See the new Computed Columns guide.
Calculation Types
- You can now build a computed column on standard fields, custom fields, and other computed columns in every calculation.
- You can now use the List of values calculation to collect the distinct values across related records, and the Score calculation to total the points a record earns from rules and weighted columns.
- The Yes / No calculation is now called True / False, matching how its values appear in workspace tables.
Conditions and Inputs
- You can now match several prefixes at once with the starts with any of condition — for example, HS codes beginning 72, 73, or 76.
- Saving a column now checks that computed columns don't read each other in a loop, and blocks deleting a column that other columns depend on.
Builds and Freshness
- Computed columns now rebuild automatically after each refresh of your organization's data, so you no longer need to run a build by hand to keep them current.
- If a build can't start because of a connection problem or temporary outage, you now see a message with a Retry option.
Workspace Display
- Workspace tables now mark computed columns with a green calculator icon, and the column header shows when its values last updated.
