Audit Log
Who is this for? Tenant administrators and catalog managers who need to review what changed in their tenant, when, and who made the change.
The Audit Log is a searchable record of administrative actions and data changes across your tenant. Each entry captures who made a change, what they changed, the previous and new values, and when it happened. Use it to investigate unexpected data changes, confirm a configuration update, or maintain an internal record of activity.
Open the Audit Log
Open Settings from the user menu and select the Audit Log tab. The tab is available to administrators with catalog-editing access; if you don't see it, your tenant administrator can grant access from Role Groups.
Depending on how your tenant is configured, you may see two views you can switch between at the top of the page:
- All Fields — every recorded change across catalog entities, field by field.
- Passports — changes specific to Product Passports, when passport collaboration is enabled for your tenant.
Read an entry
Each row is one recorded change. The table shows:
- Updated By — the user who made the change.
- Action — what happened: created, updated, or deleted.
- Entity — the type of record that changed (for example, Product or Supplier).
- Entity Name — the specific record.
- Field Updated — the field that changed. This is blank for records that were created or deleted.
- Old Value and New Value — the values before and after the change.
- Updated At — the date and time of the change.
Filter, sort, and group
The control bar above the table lets you narrow and arrange the log:
- Filter — open the filter menu, pick a field (for example, Updated By or Entity), choose a condition and value, and add it. Applied filters appear as removable chips. Add several to combine them.
- Sort — click a column header to sort by that column; click again to reverse the order.
- Show, hide, and reorder columns — use the columns menu to choose which columns appear and drag them into the order you want. Some columns, such as record identifiers, are hidden by default; turn them on here if you need them.
- Group — use the group menu to collapse rows under a shared value, such as grouping every change by the user who made it.
Rows load as you scroll, so filtering or sorting a large log applies across the full history, not just the rows currently on screen.
The Audit Log is a read-only record — entries reflect changes made elsewhere in the product and can't be edited or removed from this page.
