Introducing the Entry Processing System
A faster, clearer surface for the entry screening you already do.
We've rebuilt how you screen and enrich customs entries in Altana. The Entry Processing System (EPS) replaces the Trade Compliance Gateway (TCG) as the home for all entry screening — a new Entries tab that lets you reach the exact entry you need in seconds, understand exactly why a line was flagged, and produce a defensible output. Same checks, same reports, same integrations — a faster, clearer surface for the work you already do.
What's changed
A new Entries tab — EPS appears as an Entries tab when you sign in at network.altana.ai. All new entries are processed and reviewed here. The legacy Trade Compliance Gateway tab will eventually be retired.
Get to the right entry, fast — stack filters across any field, sort on any column, and use universal search to jump straight to an entry instead of scrolling through a batch.
Reasoning, not just a flag — every flag carries a plain-language explanation: a predicted country of origin with the logic behind it, a forced labor exposure broken down by tier with the ownership chain that connects it, a declared value measured against an expected range.
A view for every entry size — a side sheet for quick review of short entries, and a full-page view for multi-line entries, with columns scoped to the check you're working.
Clear review states — every line and entry rolls up to a single answer: Needs review or No action required, so your queue is unambiguous.
What stays the same
The checks your account is contracted for, your pricing, the reports generated in your workflow, and how entries flow in and results flow back to your systems are all unchanged. The change is the interface and the speed — not your integrations or commercial terms.
During the transition
New entries are processed and viewed in EPS. Earlier TCG results remain viewable in TCG (read-only) for a transition period.
New uploads go through EPS — uploads are no longer supported in TCG.
At TCG retirement, you'll receive a downloadable offline archive of your historical results. Nothing is lost and there is no hard cutover.
