Process Passports in Bulk

Bulk actions let you connect new passports to your Catalog, adopt changes, and publish updates across hundreds of passports at once, turning hours of manual work into minutes.

Overview

When you manage a large number of Product Passports with your collaborators, processing updates one by one is slow. Bulk actions let you connect new passports to your Catalog, adopt incoming changes, and publish your own updates across up to 500 passports at the same time.

Connect new passports to your Catalog in bulk

When a collaborator shares several new passports with you, connect them to your Catalog together instead of one at a time.

1. In your passport table, select the new inbound passports you want to connect to your Catalog.
2. Use the bulk action to connect up to 500 passports at once.
3. The products from the connected passports are added to your Catalog.

Adopt changes in bulk

When collaborators update information across many passports, adopt all of it in a single action.

1. Select the passports with available updates from your passport table.
2. Choose the bulk adopt action to pull in the new information at once.
3. Your existing data is preserved. Documents and notes from collaborators are added without replacing your current content.

Trade-related fields (such as Country of Origin) are appended as new rows when no value exists for a given import destination, or updated when a value already exists.

Publish changes in bulk

Share your Catalog updates with many collaborators at once.

1. Select the passports you want to publish from your passport table.
2. Use the bulk publish action to share your updates with all relevant collaborators in a single step.

What to expect during bulk processing

Bulk actions run in the background, so you can keep viewing your Catalog and passports while they process.

• Progress indicators show the status of your bulk operation in real time.
• Passports are temporarily locked during adoption to prevent conflicts, but they stay fully viewable.
• Processing time depends on volume: up to 50 passports takes 1 to 15 seconds; up to 500 takes 45 to 60 seconds.
• You can cancel a bulk action at any time using the Cancel button.
