Migrating from TCG
What happens when
Now — EPS is live as the Entries tab. All new entries (API or upload) are processed and reviewed in EPS.
Transition period — your historical TCG results remain viewable in TCG in read-only mode. No new uploads or processing happen there.
At TCG retirement — you receive a downloadable offline archive (ZIP) of your historical results.
What carries over
Your checks — the same checks configured for your account run in EPS. You'll only see columns and results for checks in your contract.
Your columns — the table columns you used in TCG carry over to the EPS full-page view. A small number of fields retired based on customer feedback are not carried forward; these were removed because they weren't being used, and everything needed for filtering and sorting remains.
Your integrations — how entries flow in and how results flow back to your systems is unchanged.
Your reports and pricing — unchanged.
What's different day to day
| In TCG you… | In EPS you… |
|---|---|
| Scrolled and sorted a batch to find an entry | Stack filters, sort, or ⌘K search to reach it directly |
| Saw a flag with thin explanation | See the prediction, the reasoning, and the exposure path |
| Worked one column layout for all tasks | Scope columns to the check you're working |
| Read status per check only | Get a one-word answer per line and entry: Needs review or No action required |
FAQ
Do I need to do anything to migrate? No. EPS appears as the Entries tab at network.altana.ai. Your configuration carries over.
Will my old results disappear? No. They stay viewable in TCG (read-only) during the transition, and you receive an offline archive at retirement.
Do my API integrations change? No. Entries flow in and results flow back exactly as before.
Where did the transshipment check go? It's the same check, now named COO Misdeclaration — the name better reflects what the check assesses: whether the declared country of origin is likely misdeclared.
