Organizing Saved Work with Folders

Folders let you group your saved work by case, project, or whatever convention your team uses — so a long flat list of saved items becomes a structured, navigable workspace. Folders work the same way across the places you save work in Altana.

Where folders are available

  • Saved explorations — organize the explorations you have saved from the graph.
  • Workspaces — organize your saved workspaces.
  • Trade Enforcement Suite reports — for accounts with the Trade Enforcement Suite, organize saved reports. The report pages adapt the layout slightly, but folders behave the same way.

How it works

  1. Open the page listing your saved items — for example, your saved explorations.
  2. Create a folder and give it a name that matches how your team organizes work, such as a case name or project.
  3. Move saved items into the folder. Items stay in place until you move them, and you can reorganize at any time.

When to use folders

  • When an investigation accumulates multiple explorations and you want them grouped under the case they belong to.
  • When a team shares a tenant and wants a predictable structure for finding each other's saved work.
  • When recurring reporting builds up saved reports that are easier to manage grouped by period or program.
