Processing Passports in Bulk

Bulk Adoption and Bulk Publish allow you to process updates across hundreds of passports at once — reducing hours of manual work to just minutes.

Overview

When you're managing a large number of product passports with your collaborators, processing updates one by one can be time-consuming. Bulk actions let you accept new passports, adopt changes, and publish updates across up to 500 passports simultaneously.

Accepting New Passports in Bulk

When a collaborator shares multiple new passports with you, you can accept them all at once rather than individually.

1. Navigate to your passport table and select the new inbound passports you'd like to accept.
2. Use the bulk accept action to process up to 500 passports simultaneously.
3. Products from accepted passports are automatically added to your Catalog.

Adopting Changes in Bulk

When collaborators update information across multiple passports, you can adopt all changes in a single action.

1. Select the passports with available updates from your passport table.
2. Choose the bulk adopt action to pull in all new information at once.
3. Your existing data is preserved — documents and notes from collaborators are added without replacing your current content.

Note: Trade-related fields (such as Country of Origin) are appended as new rows if no value exists for a given Import Destination, or updated if a value already exists.

Publishing Changes in Bulk

Share your Catalog updates with multiple collaborators at once.

1. Select the passports you'd like to publish from your passport table.
2. Use the bulk publish action to share updates with all relevant collaborators in a single step.

What to Expect During Bulk Processing

Bulk actions run in the background, so you can continue viewing your Catalog and passports while they process. Here's what to know:

• Progress indicators show the status of your bulk operation in real time.
• Passports are temporarily locked during adoption to prevent conflicts, but they remain fully viewable.
• Processing time depends on the number of passports:

- Up to 50 passports: 1–15 seconds

- Up to 500 passports: 45–60 seconds

• You can cancel a bulk action at any time using the Cancel button.

Passport tables now handle thousands of passports with fast loading times and no timeouts, making it easier to work with large volumes of data.
