Sender Address: The site, operated by the shipping (sending) party, from which the shipment was originally shipped (not to be confused with Country of Origin/ Port of Origin).

Receiver Address: The site, operated by the receiving party, that is the final destination of the shipment (where receipt is taken).

Good Descriptions: Descriptions of the goods being shipped commonly included on Bills of Lading as well as other data sources. Goods descriptions are often intended to help border officials understand what a shipment is made up of in order to assess taxes and duties.

HS (Harmonized System) Codes: Internationally standardized product naming and coding system to classify and describe commodities traded across country borders. When goods descriptions are lacking or limited, HS Codes may be used to infer the type of good being shipped.

Country of Origin: The country of production of any article of foreign origin where the last “substantial transformation” to the article has taken place.

Port of Lading Country: The country in which the goods in a shipment were loaded onboard a vessel.
